Smartworking
How to create a home workspace that reflects your design sense and is as comfortable as it is efficient.
Smartworking has effectively become a part of the lives of many people. The Observatory of the Polytechnic University of Milan sees in smartworking “a new philosophy aiming at giving back to people flexibility and autonomy in their choosing spaces, timetables and the tools to be used while taking on greater responsibility for end results.”
Speaking of spaces, it is fundamental that we create spaces set apart for our work. Many things may distract us, and it can be so tempting to sit ourselves down on the divan with our laptop - and yet we lose out… doubly (poor posture and low productivity). A few tips to safeguard efficiency and to take smartworking in your stride. First you need a writing desk or a special table, other than your dining table. This will help you establish a routine and keep your personal affairs apart from your work. If you don’t have an office or study, it might be a good idea to consider a new design solution to manage your open space or dining area. Of course, you must be able to fully concentrate on what you’re doing. Relaxing music may help.
Choose a product as versatile as our Labor, which has space enough for a computer, paperwork, pens and all else that you may require, just as you would need in an office.
