Christmas gifts as Christmas decorations

As Christmas and New Year arrive, home decor items − large and small – begin to appear, such as napkins, garlands, knick-knacks and so forth.

Christmas gifts can also serve as Christmas decorations in their own right. Here are a few tips. First and foremost, select the right colours and combinations. cream and gold, matching shades of red or green, or optical white with silver decorations. We recommend you go for quality and select one or two types of wrapping paper and ribbons for all your gifts. If your gift is oddly shaped, we suggest you place it in a simple cardboard box since the end-result will be much more elegant.

Make sure not too much of the sticky tape shows! If you find wrapping pretty hard, why not just use simple bags tied with a ribbon? The important thing is an end-result that is both impressive and cheering! Once you’ve done the basics, you might want to add a traditional bow or small pinecones or holly, or slender lace ribbons made from the type of “doilies” that granny once loved.

Again, why hide your gifts away under the tree?
