From the first appearance on stage to the new projects in progress: the link with the epistolary world continues.

There are bonds that arise from within. This is the case of the meeting between the Festival of Letters and the Myin brand. The festival is the most important Italian event dedicated to epistolary literature: every year it surprises its aficionados with new ideas and events inspired by the world of handwritten letters. Some examples are the artistic projects “Buste Dipinte” and VideoLettere, which have always involved artists and videomakers from all over the world. Without forgetting the competition in which letters from all over Italy participate.

“A handwritten letter is a way to truly open the doors of our interiority to others. The gesture of opening the envelope, in this sense, can be compared to that of opening a Myin sideboard. It is this aspect of the union between the two brands that struck me and led me to commission the creation of a Myin sideboard to be used as a scenographic element on the stage of the 10th edition of the festival ”declares Luca Carminati, president of the Festival delle Lettere.

For the designer Luciana Gomez it was an opportunity to try her hand at a custom project of high level and cultural depth.

“My idea was to celebrate the passion for the gesture of writing, which is a true transposition on paper of one's emotions. Thus was born the idea of ​​elaborating a texture using the incipits of the winning letters of the last 10 years "says Luciana.

And now? What news await us? There are new opportunities for collaboration and creative exchange between Myin and the Festival of Letters in the pipeline.
